PROFESSOR RACHEL ASHWORTH Ruth and David Ashworth, formerly of Rosebank, Rawtenstall, are delighted to report that their daughter Rachel has just become Professor Ashworth following her promotion at Cardiff University. Rachel is a former pupil of Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School and still has many friends and acquaintances in the Valley. She graduated in 1992 and gained her PhD in 2000. She works in the Business School at Cardiff University.
